Water Wave Hair Extensions

"I had mixed feelings about the DossoBeauty Water Wave extensions. The hair itself was very beautiful—soft, with a nice wave pattern that looked great once installed. However, while twisting the hair, I noticed a brown film or residue on it. This was not from my braiding gel, which was clear and used consistently with other brands without issue. Another downside was the weight. I only used five packs, yet the install felt very heavy on my head, which caused some discomfort. While the final look was nice, the residue and unexpected heaviness were disappointing and something to consider before purchasing."

Beautiful hair

"Loved the hair however I think there was a factory issue and two packs of hair had remnants or residue of the fiber used to make the hair. I had already washed the hair before noticing it during install. However the other hair was fine and beautiful."

"I should have order more than one. Im using this for passion braids alongside the braiding hair. Im doing passion braids over my 10 month old micro locs with natural curly ends. This was easy to work with. Soft, lightweight, no smell, no itch, perfect amount of springiness, seamless blend (especially with my curly ends). I love the boho look. For reference I have 29 passion braids, 14 left to complete, 1 split strand per braid completed half my head( 14 strands per bundle). Can be split up to 3 times as well. This will be part of my signature arsenal for my go to looks."

"There was some orange glue like material on the hair. This is my second time purchasing this hair, so I was surprised to have this issue. It would be nice it the hair were pre-stretched as well."

Not great for crochet braiding

"This hair is very disappointing, especially for the price. For crochet , it creates large knots and feels extremely slippery, so it slips out easily no matter how you try to install it. When I opened the package and separated the hair, I noticed a lot of white strands and residue from the fibers, which made the hair look dirty. I even tried washing it, but the quality got worse afterward. Another issue is the color: I ordered 1B, but this hair is much darker than a true 1B. I’ve purchased 1B from other brands before and those shades were lighter and more accurate."

Perfect

"This hair is my new favorite! It’s soft, and great quality. Other crotchet hair looks like plastic compared to this to me now. This is my second time styling with this hair. I bought 5 packs the first time to install myself and wasted a lot of it trying to break the hair apart in halves. Definitely take your time separating it, I like to use a spay of water to keep it from getting too frizzy. I got 5 packs again but only needed 4 this time, so I’m glad I had an extra pack my first time to have room for mistakes. I kept most of the strands whole and broke into twos where it made sense in the front/top, to keep the hair from getting too big. You can always separate the installed pieces in the back if you want more volume. 4-5 packs is enough for a large head"

Water wave

"This hair is so soft, springy and easy to work with. I’m a hairstylist but braids and extensions are not my usual business- with that when I am trying to give her braids or twists with extension hair, I tend to get very tangled even a straight hair generally gives me problems I’ve bought from other companies and everything winds up knotted. So I purchased this water wave for passion twists and I’m kind of cringing inside because I’m wondering just how tangled this is going to be and how long this is going to take me- it turns out to be some of the best, if not the best water wave hair I’ve ever purchased. it’s so easy to work with. so springy so silky and so soft I will definitely recommend this and I will also be buying this again."

Love this hair

"Love this hair, it passed my test; I have washed it and colored my roots and it still looks good. Already placed a second order; I went to get a few of my twists redone at a place that I l’ve never been to before; they wouldn’t let me leave without sharing the link to where I got this beautiful hair from; and Dosso’s customer service is top notch! Can’t ask for more! See pic, my hair was finished yet."
