"I really wanted to like the texture especially since it’s a good brand but I didn’t but I am very sensitive to textures next to my skin so I may be biased that’s why I gave 4 stars instead of less. Seems like a great company to support and I really appreciated how quickly my order shipped."
"This is my second or third time ordering the marley hair from Dosso and I love it. I noticed the pieces are slightly smaller but they are also softer. As it gets older, it looks like I just twisted my own hair. I enjoy frizz and the old look but if you don't, remain diligent about putting your hair in ponytails or buns at night. That could help. Overall, would recommend and will be ordering again!"
"I really really appreciate that Dosso beauty puts our health first and that their hair is truly chemical free! I unfortunately did not like this marley hair, even though I really wanted to. I used it to do kinky twists and the ends looked bad after twisting (you have to cut off the hard ends of this hair to use it), and it was very stiff once installed. Like it constantly needs to be smoothed down to lay right when you're out and about. I would love to see Dosso improve the feel of the hair and to fix the ends so that you don't have to cut off the hard part and be left with blunt ends. I won't be buying the marley hair again, but will try the spring twist hair and the braiding hair!"
"It was a struggle but I am sure that improvements are on the way. Making a product safe and toxic free with the same quality as the other products takes time. Keep at it . I’m on to trying your braiding hair now."
"I purchased the Marley hair months ago and wanted to say that I am very satisfied with this hair. I washed it before installing and liked the outcome. I read a few reviews saying the hair is rough, maybe washing it could help. I also was able to take it out and will reuse it in the future. What makes me happy is I recently saw on the news that it was free of heavy metals which was great to hear. I appreciate this company for making a safer alternative."
"I’ve been buying Dosso on Amazon for years. It was mainly supporting a black owned company. I never knew it was chemical free. I know there’s no smell that tingle my spidey senses. Like most hair smells like the factory it’s packaged in or stale, like an attic, but somehow worse. This smells like nothing and to see reports that this hair won’t break me out or damage my hair is all right with me. Idky more brands don’t do this. I don’t want chemicals seaping into my skin and body just because they don’t value me. I will always support as long as the hair is manufactured healthily like it is now and reports keep showing that Dosso doesn’t have any harmful chemicals."
"Let me start with the positive I really like the regular braiding hair so I was like let me give this Marley a try. 😢 I’m so upset. Money down the drain. This thing is ROUGH like barely able to work with it. What a mess. 🤦🏽♀️ too late to ask for a refund cuz I already tried it but 0/10. So many tangles and knots! I think it’s good for locs but not braids or crochet"

"Love the hair, as I go to no other company for it. It blends very well with my hair texture that people thought I really had locs. I liked when the strands were thicker. My hair is on the thinner side/dealing with alopecia and it helped to make my hair look fuller and covered spots. Now the 1B hair is a little too thin."
"Used this for Marley twists. This marley hair is rougher, dryer, and more prone to tangling than other types I’ve had before. The rough texture that didn’t retain moisture very well actually broke my hair pretty bad. My nape is utterly destroyed after using this hair. My sections weren’t too small, I used a light conservative amount of added hair. It was a nightmare. Beware! It’s going to take several months to grow my nape back. 😭😭"
