Safe Alternative

"I purchased the Marley hair months ago and wanted to say that I am very satisfied with this hair. I washed it before installing and liked the outcome. I read a few reviews saying the hair is rough, maybe washing it could help. I also was able to take it out and will reuse it in the future. What makes me happy is I recently saw on the news that it was free of heavy metals which was great to hear. I appreciate this company for making a safer alternative."

No chemical, all right!

"I’ve been buying Dosso on Amazon for years. It was mainly supporting a black owned company. I never knew it was chemical free. I know there’s no smell that tingle my spidey senses. Like most hair smells like the factory it’s packaged in or stale, like an attic, but somehow worse. This smells like nothing and to see reports that this hair won’t break me out or damage my hair is all right with me. Idky more brands don’t do this. I don’t want chemicals seaping into my skin and body just because they don’t value me. I will always support as long as the hair is manufactured healthily like it is now and reports keep showing that Dosso doesn’t have any harmful chemicals."

This hair is ROUGH

"Let me start with the positive I really like the regular braiding hair so I was like let me give this Marley a try. 😢 I’m so upset. Money down the drain. This thing is ROUGH like barely able to work with it. What a mess. 🤦🏽‍♀️ too late to ask for a refund cuz I already tried it but 0/10. So many tangles and knots! I think it’s good for locs but not braids or crochet"

Need Thicker Strands

"Love the hair, as I go to no other company for it. It blends very well with my hair texture that people thought I really had locs. I liked when the strands were thicker. My hair is on the thinner side/dealing with alopecia and it helped to make my hair look fuller and covered spots. Now the 1B hair is a little too thin."

Looked Fine but Rough hair, very tangly

"Used this for Marley twists. This marley hair is rougher, dryer, and more prone to tangling than other types I’ve had before. The rough texture that didn’t retain moisture very well actually broke my hair pretty bad. My nape is utterly destroyed after using this hair. My sections weren’t too small, I used a light conservative amount of added hair. It was a nightmare. Beware! It’s going to take several months to grow my nape back. 😭😭"

Marley Hair Review

"While the hair color and texture were beautiful, my stylists said the hair was hard to work with. Installation took twice as long because they had a hard time separating the hair and it tangled very easily. It was great having hair that I didn't have to prewash, and it wasn't itchy, but I probably wouldn't get the hair again because of the difficulties in working with it."

Great hair, Rough texture

"This is great hair! No scalp irritations. However, the itchiness comes from the hair texture. I wish the hair texture was softer. Even when the hair hangs on my skin, it's itchy. I find it's best to wear during the winter as the hair won't touch your skin. It's over your sweater or other attire."

Best hair I've ever twist with

"I do a lot of two strand twist styles with all types of hair. Hands down this is the best one I've used. It's soft texture and easy to braid and blend with any hair type. I can't review just yet on the take out but I hope it's easy to take out as well. Great product! I will be purchasing it again."
