"I have used the river locs crochet braids twice. I have been very pleased both times. I did not give 5 stars because they do tangle some, but applying mousse tames the tangling. I wish the river locs came in other colors and you offered a shorter length. I have cut them and they still look good, but I sacrifice having the wavy ends."

Beautiful but tricky
"These locs are gorgeous for sure and easy to install but they mat up very very very easily. Previous faux locs that I’ve gotten (different brand that wasn’t non-toxic, and also not boho) I was able to keep in for 2 months and they still looked amazing. I’m hoping to be able to keep these in for 2 months as well, but the boho effect is causing tangling/shedding/matting already and it’s barely been a week. I’ve purchased mousse and gel that I’m going to use to help tame it. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some good ware out of these locs maintaining them with the mousse. They also do itch a little, but that isn’t too bad. They are beautiful. I’m just hoping they last"

"It looks great and feels good. The hair is longer than I expected, so I wish Dosso would add a variation of length options. Make sure you buy more packs than you think you’ll need. I bought 5 packs based on the chart and ended up needing 3 extra. Now I have to buy more packs, pay for shipping, and wait to finish the middle of my head.
